Surface trolleys

After several tablet trials we have decided to go with 35 surface pro 2's. Our strategy is to split them into two sets to help with transportation around the school and also be used by any two classes at the same time if required. I am looking at some form transporter device and noticed the market is flooded with apple based ones. Anyone manage to source charge & transporter device for surface tablets?

No experience but just from a quick search I have found Top-Tec and LapCabby do trolleys that can be customised for all devices including the Microsoft Surface

Because they need a power socket not a USB port you need to be looking at net-book trollies/storage instead of tablet storage/trollies.

I remember chargebus.co.uk & loxit.com at BETT 2014 who are now getting some quotes over. Lapsafe seam to have a ready made solution too!

The lapsafe device was very good however as we have several flights of stairs the solution did not work for us. I just measured some of our steps and their 7" high! We may have to drop the idea of transporters and have trolleys on different floors.

The TabCabby is good if you don't need to get up and down stairs

Additionally there's the portable Loxit iPorta Charge case that I can get prices for. They have foam inserts that can be customised to the tablet you're buying.
