WILKES Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Since half term I have tried previewing a whole tutor group, which I have never had a problem with previously. However, it previews the reports in a random order, eg the first six students appear, followed by the last six in the tutor group, then the middle six etc. This happens with both new templates and old templates which I had not had problems with previously and also prints the reports in the same random order. We have not had any SIMS upgrades over half term so I do not understand why it has just started happening. Has anyone else had this problem and, if so, can you suggest how I can fix it? Capita said that we need to add the latest Window 7 pack to the server and that should solve the problem. However, our network manager said that we already have the latest version.
CAM Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Are they appearing in alphabetical order in the student list on the individual Report screen? If not, click the Surname heading to sort by surname then click the Reg heading to sort by reg group. They will then appear in Surname order clustered by reg group.
WILKES Posted June 6, 2014 Author Posted June 6, 2014 Yes they are, I had already thought of that. I have been doing reports for 3 years now and always print in alphabetical order. This has never happened before, only since half term.
wurzel Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Having the same problem with printing. Selected two reg groups and sorted by the reg group. When they printed they come out alphabetically with the two reg groups mixed up.
CAM Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Have you tried sorting by column headings like described above?
wurzel Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 yes, and that used to work fine. but doesn't any more.
CAM Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Hmmm, about to start printing my end of year reports. Will see if it happens this end.
SouthCoastSaint Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 I have raised the case - Capita requested our data which was sent yesterday. There are two threads on Supportnet about the same issue.
