Network Plotter

Hi All,

 

We have a network HP Designjet 111 Roll. EVERY PC on our network can print to it apart for one who gets:

Its missing huge parts. HP Support is as clueless as me. Drivers up to date.. I'm running out of ideas.

 

Network layout - PC -> Server -> Plotter

What is the OS of the said PC, what version of office is it and have you uninstalled and reinstalled the printer?

 

Also what software are you trying to print from?

Its Windows 7 32bit. We dont use office to print drawings from. We use PDF's or TrueView..

 

I have reinstalled the printer plenty times.

I've had this on a wide carriage hp Z series, that turned out to be an option in the driver menu that was ticked when it shouldn't have been. Might have been 'enable advanced printing features' try it. Also check your GPOs are replicating to that machine properly if that is how you deal with print drivers.

Oaktech, I have tried what you have suggested with no avail. Got any more ideas?

 

I have a feeling the machine is going to be formatted if i cant find an answer.

Reimage would be my answer if all had been tried.
