I am having an issue where I am getting a error '800a005e' Invalid use of Null:

This could be that one of your find items it not finding the field.

 

If the return of find item is null you can't do .value. It would throw the error your getting

Thank you, but that did not work.

 

The way it is supposed to work, is that every semester a new term date is created and the list of term dates is updated.

There are 3 drop down menu's that someone can use to change to different dates to do different reports, (transcripts in this case), along with an update button and a back to main button.

 

A new date was added for the new term only showing the first drop down and is no longer displaying the other drop downs, update button or back to main button.

 

I suspect that when the new date was added, it broke it somehow, as it had worked before.

The issue has been resolved.

 

By placing an

& ""

before the end of the CStr function

 

 

 

Then If (CStr(schedDates.Fields.Item("schedDate").Value [color=#0000ff][b]& ""[/b][/color]) = CStr((current.Fields.Item("schedDateCurrent").Value [color=#0000ff][b]& ""[/b][/color])))
