Iain.Faulkner Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Hi Mike, I hate to ask this question, but what does the Pay Scale relate to in terms of actual pay? I can't find the pay scales on the Derbyshire.gov website. Cheers
russdev Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 @Iain Was about to ask same question did quick search last night myself. Russ
MkII Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Should be the national rate surely - scales 6 to SO1 (nice looking job by the way )
TechSupp Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 What about doing: • Lunch/ break time duty. • Bus duty. in the job spec, err no thanks! even for S01
russdev Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 There is no national rate at moment single national pay hasn't been sorted so depends on what unions negotiated in Derby. Russell
russdev Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 What about doing: • Lunch/ break time duty. • Bus duty. in the job spec, err no thanks! even for S01 Most jobs now you would be expected to do that gone are days when you could get out of that one. russdev Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Most people currently don't but move in schools is that all support staff to stuff like this but as it is no part of your current contract current staff can't really be asked. But for new staff they add it is part of contract. Russell
Halfmad Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 No schools in this region would dream of asking IT staff to do break/lunch duty, it's teaching staff and senior managements responsibility!
tech_guy Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 They know they'd die if they tried it here.....
OutToLunch Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Doh. Missed this one, just up the road too
