Ubuntu Remote working with active directory

Ok my head is hurting. I'm trying to get it to let me login with winbind. I click other and keep on getting authentication failure. Any ideas?

Rookie mistake. Did not put the domain\ in

So close, got it all installed, all apps on I want, domain login, installed XRDP (after struggling to get VNC working) and whenever I connect it just gives a blank screen with no logon :-(

Ok. XRDC may be a no go on CentOS. Installed Debian but had to leave it until tomorrow. Just out of interest has anyone got the MIT app inventor emulator working in Linux?

@BKGarry - VNC in Centos is yum install vnc-server - or in recent releases...it's yum install tigervnc-server... then use vncserver command and type a password twice.... you may need to open up the ports in the firewall (system-config-firewall) in CLI.

The blank screen is probably because you may need to install X-Windows and the GNOME or XFCE desktop.
