Haptic Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 OK, not exactly Edu (directly) hence the general chat. However the Connection Voucher scheme could be well received by some members of this fine forum. More here If you're anything like us, money from Govt coffers is seldom sniffed at 2
TomCollins Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 If you're wanting to know if your post code is under the scheme, have a look at https://www.connectionvouchers.co.uk/superconnected-cities/. Also gives you a list of providers. I have to warn you though, if you sign up for some more 'information', I did get quite a few emails and phone calls from companies trying to sell me their services!
Haptic Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 Hi Tom To be frank if you did sign up for more information it wouldn't surprise me that you have been contacted by organisations trying to offer their services. If they are approved and listed on the links above (as we are) we are committed to making the scheme as successful as possible. The recent report in our news post (link above) detailing that only 2 applications have been received in Oxford has lead to the Govt pushing hard for results. Joe
