MatthewL Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I need a rugged case to protect my iPad mini, got one of them ones that folds to make a bit of stand but protect the screen, need something similar but with protection to the back, found a nice big gouge in mine today. Any recommendations?
TechSupp Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 We got some of the Griffin Survivor cases for our foundation staff iPad Mini. Supposed to be military grade, drop from a distance etc grade...not had courage to try it out though! 1
MatthewL Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Heard about these. Just want something to protect the iPad a bit more, not rough with my technology but noticed its a big scruffy on the back now and only had it a few months!
TechSupp Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Have a look at their website, they do various ones I think. Did for the iPod we bought them for as well.
dhicks Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Any recommendations? My Lifeproof case for the iPad Mini seems to be working well: Apple iPad Mini | LifeProof Supposed to be drop and water proof (although, as above, I haven't actually tried), and the screen protector doesn't seem to intefere with touch-screen performance at all.
Bompalompalomp Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Got 40 Grifin Survivors here. They're fantastic, can't recommend them any more. Not a scratch after a few careless teachers and I once jokingly hit my mate round he head with one. iPad was fine, he wasn't.
ICTDirect_Dave Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Griffins are brilliant! Failing that get a Tactus smart cover. They're far better than the rest of the folding competition.
eean Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 We got these cases from iGear, which work out good value when buying in bulk. https://www.igearunlimited.com/product/ipad-slim-tough-case-g4 They have built in stands to cater for all angles and are sturdy. They also have a built in screen protector that I don't like much. They were a good company and sent me replacement stick on screen protectors instead. Next time, I'll order them without the built in screen protector.
abillybob Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 iBalls, I had some for an iPad 2 I used to scare the hell out of all my friends at college by lobbing my iPad full force all over the room!
