Exchange Server not getting mails generated from RBC mail

Ok - seriously worried coz if the Head finds out he's not been getting emails from other schools in the area I'm probably in a for a rollicking.

 

Exchange 2003 server up and running, all mails set to forward to it by the EMBC (our provider). Sending and receiving external mail without a hitch.

 

BUT - it appears that mails sent from other schools using Mirapoint/Assimilate mail provided by the LA/EMBC are not getting through.

 

I can mail them, but when they mail me they get

 

The following recipient(s) could not be reached: 550 myemail@... No such mailbox. But my mailbox does exist. I'm not sure how to tell if it is the exchange server bouncing the mail.
