Hold Music

Does anyone know where i can find 'The Pirates of the Caribbean' theme tune for hold music on our phone system?

iTunes store, Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack. Track 3 = "The Black Pearl"

You'll need a public performance licence to use this for hold music... and indeed any copyrighted piece of music!

Bear in mind that to play hold music that isn't public domain, you need a PRS Music on Hold license - http://www.prsformusic.com/SiteCollectionDocuments/PPS%20Tariffs/MH-2014-01%20Tariff.pdf

 

You also need a PPL license for Music on Hold too. I don't have details for that though, except a third party website about it. PPL licence requirements for “on hold” music | PPL Licence

Isn't the well known theme 'He's a pirate'?

It is. DJ Tiesto made a fantastic version (paid for by Disney IIRC but they never used it, think it was for a promo) (DJ Tiesto - He's a Pirate, Elements of Life album)
