I am trying to create a mandatory profile for students in Windows 8. I have created the profile but (logged in as admin) the 'Copy To..' button is always greyed out in User Profiles. In Win7 I use a great tool called 'Windows Enabler 1.1' but this doesn't work in Windows 8. How are we meant to copy a profile to a network share now then?

I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you, but am battling myself with the same stuff and shocked at how hard Microsoft are making it for us to love them! :/

I'm using this method for a perfect Windows 8.1 Mandatory Profile. Just bash a machine up with nothing on, not joined to the domain or anything, mess around with the profile until it's as you want it (So I uninstalled all the apps, arranged the start menu as I wanted it etc, sysprep it with copyprofile=true, load it up, log in and copy the Default Profile (allow everyone access to it) to your network location. Change NTUser.dat to NTUser.man and point your AD users to it.
