SPAM emails

anyone else suddenly finding this week they are being hit quite hard with lots of SPAM emails sent to users email address. Sometimes up to 6 a day. the enquirers email is getting up to 50. Has something changed.

Nothing here. We get the odd lot from places like Stormfron trying to flog off their iPad 2's and junk like that but nothing out of ordinary!

sorry i should have stated this is only affecting schools i believe within Lancashire.

We are getting hit this week with a lot of fake HMRC e-mails.

Lots of HMRC and Paypal ones and UPS, Sophos blocks most of them but on mobile devices and home machines it is a worry. I send each one to connect2education, hopefully when Office 365 comes this won't be a problem. Edited March 20, 2014 by jhothersall

We get the HMRC and bank ones most of the time. There is a new one doing the rounds, one about blood results linking to cancer.
