You are doing a good thing. and good luck to you. We are just teasing :)

I have benefited from help from other techs - both in person and virtual. I would love some training on anything tech as I have never had any of any sort.

Anyone want to combine a few days in lovely Dorset with a bit of training or mentoring? :)

I was quite fortunate during my apprenticeship I had a good and intelligent Network Manager above me that taught me the role and various other things, it does help vastly I think and I would always take up an offer if someone ever wanted to show me what they do and how their network runs, I can then take away that information and hopefully implement better things into mine. But Dorset seems a bit too far from me haha otherwise I'd be honoured to sit under your wing for a few days @witch!

I want someone to teach ME not me teach them! This is my third career that I fell into after being an electronics tech and a computer/electronics headhunter and apart from a lot of help from mrwITch and from a couple of others I have never learned anything "officially"

Is that a new function in MDT or Clonezilla? That would be amazing! Brain imaging... wow...

Can you imagine the difference in image sizes? MP? Barely a floppy disk. Physicist? Data-centre full of disks.
