Phone Contract renewal

Just looking for some advice as this is my first contracted phone I got it as it was easier to claim as an expense to my business.

I have a business contract with 02 got a iphone 4s for £37 inc vat which seamed ok.

 

I got a phone call yesterday from 02 about renewing my contract.I was busy so not taking much notice but the jist was.

If I keep my current phone my contract will go down by £10 a month.

If I get another 4s then my contract will stay about the same.

5c and 5s would put the cost up.

 

What is the real difference between the 4s 5c and 5s?

 

My first thought was to keep my current phone and get a lower contract. but after talking to the wife she would quite like a iphone.

So is it possible for me to get a new iphone as part of my contract and give my current phone to the wife, for her to get a new payg sim to go in it?

What is the real difference between the 4s 5c and 5s?

 

In terms of software, not much. In terms of hardware, the most obvious difference is that the screen on the 5 and the 5S is a tad bigger. The 5 series phones are a lot thinner and lighter, I was surprised at how different the 4 and the 5 series feel when I got my 5. The 5 and 5S hardware is faster too, you will probably notice some difference in speed. The cameras are better on both phones and the 5S has a fingerprint scanner.

The 5 and 5S support LTE networks too so if your plan allows you to use 4G, you will, in theory anyway, get faster internet speeds out and about. How well this works in practice remains to be seen.

Yes, you can do that. However, you will need to either get O2 to unlock your phone or get a O2 PAYG SIM card. If you do get a PAYG SIM, make sure that the plan includes a data allowance too. Not all of them do.
