Which phone headsets are your reception staff using?

As headsets are cheaper than chiropractors or paying for an inhouse shiatsu practitioner*, I'm eyeing up phone headsets for use by our reception staff.

 

We use Avaya phones and I'm looking at Plantronics headsets and a quick-disconnect cable.

 

What're you using and how are they for audio, comfort and robustness?

We use the Plantronics headsets you mention. They are really good. pretty strong, comfortable to wear and good sound. Although we use them with Cisco phones (7941 & 7961's)

 

I use one. Saves my arm when I have long conversations and I can type whilst on the phone (something I do regular).

We brought a headset here for our Cisco 7961 phone at reception, they just refused to use it, so unless you have them on your side I would not even start to pay out, worse £100 I spent (and that was the cheapest)

we use this one Plantronics CS510A Monaural Wireless Headset (84691-02) - www.misco.co.uk with our Avaya handset in reception needed to buy an adapter cable part #Apv-63(38734-11) it works well and receptionist is happy with it.

The emergency services all seem to use Plantronics.
