[wanted] Dell poweredge 2970 ram (cheap as possible used or new)

After upgrading to sql 2012 my measily 8 gig of ram is just not cutting it.

 

I have had quotes off dell and they are just beyond stupid over 200 quid for 8 gig

 

server is dell power edge 2970

HK002 4 Dual In-line Memory Module, 2G 667M, 256X72, 2RX8 is the current ram 4x2gb its about 4 years old

 

 

has anyone got any lying around that we might be able to purchase.

Why not just search the specs on ebuyer and buy some identical ram from proper ram manufacturers direct? Same thing.

Let me know how many you want. It'll be best to swap out your esisting sticks as it'll be tricky getting some here that match
