detjo Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Just purchased a new server, installed 2012 R2 and virtualised all other servers onto it. Next plan is to buy another server, install 2012 R2 and set them up with Hyper-V Replica .. So my thinking is, if every hour the VMs are updated on the replica server, is there a need for separate backup (ie: backup exec / veeam) ? Im thinking i might just back up user files, in case of file loss, and leave it at that. Thoughts?
