[ms office - 2010] Word not letting user type

Just wondered if anyone had seen this before.

 

Just one computer at our place, has this issue.

we have nelson handwriting font installed.

But this one computer when you open up word wont let you type anything... if you go to the nelson font program that opens up word you can type in that with the font.

However turning to normal font nothing. Opening up word normally nothing. It lets you cut and paste but nothing form the keyboard.

 

Keyboard works so no idea, just going to re image . But just found it strange

Don't suppose some puckish wit has changed the font colour to white, have they?

Nope,

 

You can sit and hammer at the keyboard for hours and the cursor just blinks.

Oh well, just a thought. Had a kid try that on years ago, here.

Have a look under the review tab and on the centre of the ribbon there is Final etc, we had this before and it was on a wrong setting which stopped editing.
