Jobos Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 So I'm setting up toys of the devil otherwise known as iPads by using apple configurator. That's working well and I can deploy free apps and restore the iPads at will. I have got an apple VPP account but that’s where the problems start. On the VPP site when I add a paid I can't see anyway to add other apps and have them on the same invoice. Do go through the invoice process for each different app? Back on the VPP site how do I pay for the apps when the school doesn't have a credit card? I can't see a way to achieve this and ideally I would like to use a purchase order but I expect it's not that easy!
j224 Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Sorry I'm not much help- we use a credit card.
yugo Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 (edited) You can buy a Volume Voucher from apple it seems, then redeem that within your VPP facilitator account. http://images.apple.com/uk/education/docs/VPP_Pages_UK.pdf I think you might have to contact apple to get this set up. Another option is using click and buy and direct debit to your school bank account. And yeah it seems you have to buy one app at a time. Edited February 12, 2014 by yugo
Lmsgpm2012 Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 I'm just about to do the same thing. We have a credit card but the Business Manager doesn't want us to use it. You can use purchase orders. You purchase so much VPP credit which goes onto your account. You are then invoiced for that credit in the same way you would be from other suppliers. You do have to ring Apple to set an account up though. I'm hoping to ring today, with Business Manager at my side for any finance questions. Just depends if I get time to do it today.
Jobos Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 Yes it's the link to the voucher page I need. Even a search on the store doesn't show anything useful
