JDiaz Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Hello, I would like to get people's opinion on what is an average salary for a SIMS School Data Manager who deals with SIMS, and also what the typical career progression would be (maybe data manager for a school federation?) and what would be the salary range be. Thanks, J
AliWoodley Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Don't relocate to Lincolnshire....woefully underpaid!
BKGarry Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Technical Logistics Leader - Job Roll Formally called SIMS and Timetable Coordinator, then SIMs and Timetable manager, then Technical Logistics Leader when I took some the old NM stuff on when the Local Authority Cancelled the BSF ICT Contract and we gained some control back through the outsourced contractor. 26k Per Annum, 52 Week a Year contract (been here 6 years so get 29 days holiday + bank holidays) Kinda stuck at the moment with where to go next, either full blown data manager and timetabler or try and go back to a proper NM route again.
JDiaz Posted February 11, 2014 Author Posted February 11, 2014 Thanks everyone for your helpful answers. This is exactly what I was hoping to get. Thanks again, J
RhysLl0yd Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Hi JDiaz, my name is Rhys and I work for a recruitment agency that specialises in SIMS Data roles all over the UK. If you want to discuss your question in more detail then I'd be happy to help. My email address is [email protected]. Kind regards Rhys
Ephelyon Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Why, thank you! Though thankfully I'm not the Data Manager myself. Did have to fight the Council for seven months to get a pay rise for the NM role here though.
