Our client provides IT support and development to schools across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London. This role would be to work from their West Oxford offices. Working with stakeholders to create a common vision of how IT can help develop the company’s processes, research and promote new IT systems, manage development projects and deploy in an iterative environment. You must show abilities in systems design, analytical skills, IT systems development, working with a multiple of team members, software testing and ideally LAMP solutions stack (MySQL, Linux, Apache, HTTP, PHP, Perl or Python etc). You will be based out of the office in Buckinghamshire and able to go into different schools to provide a technical and user support of the SIMS system. Your main responsibilities will be day-to-day management of the ELITE (VLE) Delivery Team and the supervision of the team's performance whilst carrying out their operational duties.   20. DATA MANAGER 37 hours a week, 41 weeks a year We require an experienced Data Manager to maintain and develop our high quality of data management support in school. You will report to the Headteacher, presenting accurate analyses of student progress data and exams results, working alongside the Exams Manager. You will support staff in the use of SIMS and adherence to data protection regulations, working closely with the ICT Manager. You should have extensive experience and knowledge of educational data management and interpretation. You should have the ability to analyse complex data, to design and produce comprehensive reports and have an understanding of school performance statistics. A sound knowledge of SIMS Core, Reporting, System Manager, Assessment Manager and the Curriculum Management Module to support timetabling is essential. You will be required to manage the production of statutory census returns, manage parental access to the SIMS Learning Gateway and co-ordinate SIMS back-ups and upgrades. You should also be conversant with RAISEonline and FFT data and similar relevant data analysis tools. You must have at least Intermediate, and preferably Advanced, skills in Microsoft Excel and be able to operate Word Mail Merge. You must be able to work under pressure, prioritising and managing expectations and have good interpersonal skills.
