Key knowledge for any candidate should include servers from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008R2 including transitioning, Active Directory and Windows Security Settings. DATA MANAGER £21,000-£23,800 Required for February Buckinghamshire 37 hours a week, 41 weeks a year We require an experienced Data Manager to maintain and develop our high quality of data management support in school. You will report to the Headteacher, presenting accurate analyses of student progress data and exams results, working alongside the Exams Manager. You will support staff in the use of SIMS and adherence to data protection regulations, working closely with the ICT Manager. You should have extensive experience and knowledge of educational data management and interpretation. You should have the ability to analyse complex data, to design and produce comprehensive reports and have an understanding of school performance statistics. A sound knowledge of SIMS Core, Reporting, System Manager, Assessment Manager and the Curriculum Management Module to support timetabling is essential. You will be required to manage the production of statutory census returns, manage parental access to the SIMS Learning Gateway and co-ordinate SIMS back-ups and upgrades. You should also be conversant with RAISEonline and FFT data and similar relevant data analysis tools. You must have at least Intermediate, and preferably Advanced, skills in Microsoft Excel and be able to operate Word Mail Merge. You must be able to work under pressure, prioritising and managing expectations and have good interpersonal skills.   13. We are looking for cover for a technician in a well-equipped Secondary School in Nottingham, from 14th January to around the 15th March. This role will include duties such as ensuring rooms ready for use, replacing toner/peripherals, basic problem solving, resetting passwords, classroom support, whiteboard/smartboard maintenance and repair. You will be required to have IT support knowledge in Windows 7, DNS, DHCP, Windows XP and Desktop support. If you have qualifications such as MCP, CCNA then this will enhance your application. The working hours are from 8AM to 4PM Monday-Thursday and 8AM to 3:30PM Friday (not including 30 minute lunch break). It is necessary that you have a clean CRB check as you will be working in a school. Pay will be £8-£10 for PAYE or £10-12 for using an Umbrella Company per hour.
