Theldron Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Hello, I have HAP setup on a 2008R2, but when i log in as admin, staff or student account I get the following screen. If i click the down arrow and navigate that way I can get to myfiles etc, but I would rather not have that screen as I would like to push this out to staff for remote access. Any ideas would be appreciated. Cheers
fairm010 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Look in your web.config file in the root of the HAP folder specifically the permissions section. [Code/]
Theldron Posted January 30, 2014 Author Posted January 30, 2014 Hi, Thanks for your reply. I have gone through the override permissions and everything looks fine, or am i missing something. Cheers
nickbro Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Is there anything getting logged in the server's application event log?
Theldron Posted January 31, 2014 Author Posted January 31, 2014 Hi Nick, I have checked the event logs I am getting this error: An error occurred in Home Access Plus+ Page: HAP.Web.API.MyPic Creating Directory Search and Searching for then current user Using filter: (&(objectClass=user) (sAMAccountName=username)) Found 1 results, processing 1st result Found 0 thumnbnailPhotos Any help would be appreciated Sean
nickbro Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Hmm, ok, that error is to be expected, it throwing you straight to unauthorized.aspx isn't. Can you tell me the full URL that was accessed when you got unauthorized?
Theldron Posted February 3, 2014 Author Posted February 3, 2014 Hi Nick, The URL that I login to is: https://localhost/hap/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fhap%2f As soon as I login it takes me to unauthorised.aspx. Thanks again for your help Sean
Theldron Posted February 6, 2014 Author Posted February 6, 2014 Hi Nick, Sorry to be a pain, is there any news on the issue that i am having? If it is down to me being daft or doing something wrong I am happy to be told? Cheers Sean
nickbro Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Sorry, I can't quite figure out why it's not showing the homepage, it's a baffling error if the other pages are working
Theldron Posted March 10, 2014 Author Posted March 10, 2014 Hi Nick, Just to let you know that I have fixed this issue, it seemed to be caused by IIS. So I uninstalled IIS and all its dependencies via roles and features in Server Manager, uninstalled .net framework then reinstalled it back on again, reinstalled HAP and it is all working now. Thanks for this amazing software mate. Take it easy Sean 1
beancole Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 anyone evr get anywhere with this without uninstalling IIS?
