Software/ways to check user accounts for games?

Hello,

 

Sorry if this has been posted in the wrong section.

 

Been looking around and has anyone got any recommendations on software or ways to scan/check students user accounts on a schedule (like daily) for game files (.exe's) etc.?

Here is what we have done:

 

[*=1]Perform a thorough search for offending files and move/delete/set security rights for anything found
[*=1]Configure FSRM [File Server Resource Manager] to prevent addition of offending files [you can get it to send you an E-Mail when they do try to save another file to where they should not]
[*=1]Repeat thorough search occasionally [shouldn't need to really but I find it satisfying when no items are found]

Job done.

FSRM plus tight Group Policy software restrictions catch most of these for us.

Although it hasn't been updated in awhile, it still could be useful.
