LukeC Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Hello, Does anyone know of a way that I can view my nic speed on server 2008 r2 core, without logging into the switch as I don't know which port it is.
Michael Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Can't you follow the cable into the cab? Most switches allow you to view the speed based on the LEDs being off for 10Mbps, flashing for 100Mbps and on for 1000Mbps.

mac_shinobi Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Surely if you log onto the switch it should show you what device is connected to what port by mac address or device name etc and go from there regards to speed on the correct port Failing that as above regards to the connection properties in windows
