Thunderbird Email / Any Email!

Hi all, again!

 

I'm going to make this post really plain and simple:

My primary school use office365 mail. And some of the staff are not happy with the layout. Therefore, I prupose that the select few, including myself, use Mozilla Thunderbird. Now, when it asks me to sign in. My user name and password are correct. But why wont it let me use it?!?!?! The message i get is:

 

"Configuration could not be verified - is the username and password wrong?"

 

Answer: No. Everything is how it should be.

 

Additional information: We do use a proxy server to get to the internet. Maybe this has something to do with it?

I use thunderbird to access gmail and we had to have some ports opened on the firewall/proxy to get it to work. Unfortunately it's not us that control the proxy so I can't advise on what it exactly it was they did. But I did get the same error as you before the changes were made.
