Gongalong Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Hi folks, To-date we've always used Logitech X-140 speakers, but eBuyer aren't stocking them any more, and I can't find them at a sensible price (£20) from any decent suppliers. Can anyone recommend some decent (good range) PC speakers, in the £20-40 bracket? TIA
Dos_Box Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 I have those on my desk right now. I'm not sure what I'd choose once these die. Decent sound from them too 1
AdamWeston Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 We are using Creative A220 and A520 which are about the price your looking at I have a feeling that they might have recently be replaced by a newer model (A250/A550), but both produce decent sound. 1
ZeroHour Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 I have used: Logitech Z323 Speaker System: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories for years now, the extra sub makes everything sound better but a sub could be overkill for a school. They can be found for around the £20 mark when on special. 1
newpersn Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Got a set of logitech x540s sat upstairs. May take them to work
Gongalong Posted January 10, 2014 Author Posted January 10, 2014 Ah, I should have clarified I'm looking for a pair of speakers, like the X-140's. It's a pain to site the subwoofer on a desk.
Gongalong Posted January 10, 2014 Author Posted January 10, 2014 I'm going to try the Logitech Z320's. Twice the price, but I can't see anything else obvious that's good quality.
