SSL Error -Sharepoint / Exchange

So, over the holiday our SSL certificate on the exchange and sharepoint server expired. I renewed the certificate from our CA on the domain. This renewed it for 2 years and allowed access back to sharepoint and exchange (externally)

Now, fast forward to today and were getting lots of certificate errors.

When trying to log onto the VLE or OWA (in school) we get the "There is a problem with this websites security certificate..."

You can click Continue and it goes through to the VLE. Lookin at the certificate and its still using the old one which expired at the end of December. This is also preventing users downloading documents from the VLE due to the certificate errors.

 

How do I force the clients to use the new certificate?

I stupidly assumed that they would just see that there was a new certificate and use that one....

 

UPDATE:

Ok, looks like I may have done something wrong as digicert is showing that the SSL is expired still.

IIS 6 shows that the certificate is ok until 2015.. any ideas?

Is it published through a proxy that needs the SSL certificate on that like TMG / ISA per chance?

On the rule publishing it you have to have the SSL Cert that you put on IIS put on that. Its part of the publishing wizards so easily swapped.
