BBC Video Clips not working

Hi everyone

 

for some reason BBC clips and random iplayer videos have stopped working through my proxy and it is driving me mad.. ive tried everything i can do and im at a loss...

 

This all started about 3/4weeks ago and staff cannot play any videos on newsround website for example. They just get this content is not avilable message.

 

We are using TMG 2010 and everything has been working fine for ages but for some reason any computer that goes through the TMG that is on a vlan fails to play these videos yet if i use the proxy and am on the same vlan as the server all works as it should?

 

has anyone come across this or can help advise places to look for resolution.....

I'm having exactly the same issue with Smoothwall Advanced Firewall, however my apprentice tells me the clips work in Chrom if you run as administrator Edited March 24, 2014 by ZeroHour

I have also been having problems with iplayer when traffic goes through our sophos web filtering applience. It started around november time and has been a right pain. Not tried Chrome yet.

We have been having issues too and are using smoothwall. It's not consistent but a fresh image seems to sort it for our users. I'm starting to wonder if the BBC are doing some weird throttling.

I'm having the same problem with the bbc newsround, did you fellows find a solution?
