Upgrading Ruckus 1050 to 1150 how?

Can I copy the config from the 1050 to the 1150?

 

Or should I start from scratch?

 

I THOUGHT I read somewhere you could, but now I can't find it..

I have done in the past but both where running the same firmware version so I'm not sure if that presents an issue.

Yeah thats the issue. Tried to backup on the old and restore on the new... Firmware wrong... Will think about maybe downgrade, restore, upgrade.. Seems risky though...

Having spoken to a couple of colleagues you should be able copy from a 1050 to an 1150 even though they are on different firmware versions. Both colleagues claim to have done this successfully.

 

Not sure if that helps but may save you spending time restoring/upgrading etc.
