I'm, getting a little frustrated with mine truth be told. And it seems I'm not alone according to this from The Enquirer: Android users complain of Nexus upgrade woes- The Inquirer

My problems to date are:

  • Send/receive mail is flaky
  • Volume won't go back up once muted
  • WiFi stuck on 'Switching on'
  • High battery use at random times

All of this is helped by rebooting - oh, and I hate the fact you only get a 'switch off' option and no 'reboot' on the power screen. Anyone else suffering?

Wait... "Reboot" was taken out in 4.4?

I have it on 4.3. [Galaxy S4]

I find bluetooth audio keeps cutting out and the skip track buttons on the lock screen seem less sensitive.

I had the WiFi issue but turning it off/on fixed that

I've had a bit of grief with 4.4.2 - I'm randomly unable to change my ring volume, which power-cycling the screen seems to resolve. It's also borked my Battery Widget Reborn notification, after a while it stops updating and I have to open the app from the app drawer to get it to update.

Since 4.3 I've also had the problem wherein once my signal drops, it stays at zero unless I turn airplane mode on & off again. Apparently it's an Out of Bounds Exception, the bug is known, and it's still not fixed. The workaround is to go into developer options (dial #*#*4636*#*#) and change from WCDMA preferred to WCDMA only (or GSM only if, like me, you live in the sticks) but that resets every time you reboot the phone, and means I have to manually change to WCDMA if I happen to be in a civilised town with decent mobile internet.

4.4.3 working ok for me also..

You sure you got that version number correct? 4.4.3? I mean, I know Google is making nightlys (its a joke) these days, but I thought the latest version was 4.4.2

Official stock android has no reboot option in it. Never had. You must have modded yours in the past.

I'm on CyanogenMod 11 (4.4.1 Kit Kat) and no problems for the last week or so. I also have a Reboot option.

Is this the official update?

Cyanogenmod built a reboot option in.

Samsung built their own reboot option into the phone.

No issues here, used slightly more battery on 4.4. But since the 4.4.2 update that's sorted. I do have a faulty power button, which is more of an issue considering LG have never got the things in stock!
