Applying Agile methods for Infrastructure Projects - anyone using it?

Up until now we have been using basic IT project management methods for implementing infrastructure projects (26yrs IT operations experience of what works + common sense).

 

It has now been suggested that we use Agile methods for Infrastructure Projects.
