Successful candidates will be excellent communicators who excel both at working in a team and working alone. They will be able to manage their own time successfully, and also be able to work to a schedule. The role will be field-based, and include setting up, maintaining, and supporting ICT networks in education environments. Required or beneficial experience includes: •Windows Server OSs •Server virtualisation (VMWare, Hyper-V, XenServer) •Infrastructure experience (HP networking, wifi, VLANs) •Storage (SAN, NAS) •Active Directory, Group Policy •Network security (firewalls, routers, web filters, AV) •Network backup (Symantec Backup Exec) •Network services (DNS, DHCP, SQL, IIS, File and Print) •MS Exchange/Office 365 •Desktop deployment (Windows 7/8) •Mobile device management •Full, clean driving licence A CRB check is required for these roles.
