[windows software] Windows Intune EES?

So, we now have 30 of these Windows RT devices here and I'm now looking at trying to manage them properly.

 

As far as I know InTune is the thing to go for but I am struggling to find out any education pricing on it. Our usual supplier has come back and said we'd have to buy it under the whole Office 365 package (which works out at a ridiculous cost for 30 devices).

 

My question is this - is there an education price for InTune? Or one in GBP? Or anything helpful about the pricing for the product at all for schools?

All in American. I'm looking for UK education under EES pricing and details. Their site is entirely in USD.

 

However, speaking to our reseller, that only applies to full EES and not OVS-EES.

 

So, looking at their site, it comes back saying $11 per device per month... Which is ridiculous.

I found something online, from 2011 saying it was £7.50 per device, which sounds really high!

Well, I now have some details back from Microsoft... Still laughing.

 

For InTune with Windows OS it is £7.20 per user per month

InTune without Windows OS is £3.90 per user per month

 

So, if you want to do it properly, and have them as multi-user devices and, say, you have 700 users, your bill will either be £60,480 or £32,760 per year.

Thankfully, Softcat is doing some legwork for me and is trying to figure out a better way of doing it!

Thats because the tablet isn't associated to 1 user.

Nope. I tried multiple times with multiple suppliers. Never got an answer!
