Edit: Sorry about the double post! For some reason, when I clicked Post Quick Reply it took me to the Go Advanced screen. Thinking I'd clicked the wrong button I posted again. Ah well, it's almost Christmas! :D

I got the same error as you on my previous post (going to advanced rather than posting) - but being forewarned by yourself I hit back and refresh, and there my post already was.

I think everything is doubling up today. When I first visited the forum this morning, I saw this:

Just vidya gams, Dr.Who, comics and general laziness.

@bladedanny - Great stuff. I did that last summer, only I didn't get very far. Thoroughly enjoyed ripping up the dodgy laminate flooring in the living room though.

It was the bathroom wall for me. Knocking that out was rather fun.

Thanks for the peeks into your schools' Christmas festivities guys. Love some of the costumes (Mario, Spongebob and what I think is a set of reindeer with jazzed up new names - cool).

 

Judging by the "other" work all you techs sometimes talk about, I can see that your job roles extend far beyond supporting IT. It seems to me like if you use a computer to do it and no-one else knows how, then it must be the job of the IT team.

Mind you, yesterday I was dissasembling a large corner desk so it would fit through a narrow door. Tomorrow I will be back to more IT related work installing the new smart switches I got from @VeryPC_Colin_M

I say tomorrow, I'm not sure I can wait 'til then...:nerd:

That's it! You've given me the idea I needed. I've been trying to come up with an all-inclusive way of earning bonus entries for anyone following the thread closely. Here it is:

 

Make a guess at what the star prize for day 25 is and I will award you a bonus entry. It's that simple - no prize for correct answer (other than pride and smugosity), but a single bonus entry for each person who has one or more guesses. Remember that no-one gets more than 3 total entries including their original entry (currently just @sparkeh and @HaleStorm are maxed out). CLUE: there is a tiny big clue somewhere in this paragraph.

EDIT - I will reveal the prize later today. I'll take guesses until 3pm then tell you all what it is, so make your guesses...
