I was only thinking of a 2.5" as I have some spare and would hope it would make the unit a little smaller over all. I still plan to get my FreeNAS unit up and running but I want to buy a pair of new matching drives and there is always something else that needs the money!

Danp Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 I was kinda hoping our friends in Asia would make a caddy with a network port on it cheaply and that it was just me that could not find it. Maybe I should just turn on my FreeNAS unit with the 2.5" drive in there for now.
