gpjt Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Hi, Our trial period has expired and I've added our domain to take up the A2 option. For whatever reason i can't add the A2 subscription through purchase services and have the following: There are no trial or paid subscriptions available to you at this time. This could be caused by one of the following: There are no subscriptions available in your country or region. You have already subscribed to all available subscriptions. Does anyone have any advice on how i can add the A2 subscription please or is it best to let this trial account lapse, remove the added domain and start a new trial, where i add the domain when starting the new trial?
themightymrp Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 In Purchase Subscriptions, I assume you can find the Faculty or Student A2 options on the list? You should be able to click the add to trolley icon and then specify how many you want to buy at £0.00 each. Is this what you've done?
gpjt Posted November 22, 2013 Author Posted November 22, 2013 That's what i'd hope to do, but i get: There are no trial or paid subscriptions available to you at this time. This could be caused by one of the following: There are no subscriptions available in your country or region. You have already subscribed to all available subscriptions.
themightymrp Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 When you go to Admin --> Office 365 and choose Licensing from the left menu, what is showing under both the subscriptions tab and the licenses tab?
gpjt Posted November 22, 2013 Author Posted November 22, 2013 Office 365 Education A3 for Students/faculty Trial in both subscriptions and licences tabs.
themightymrp Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Does it say when it expires / did expire?

Yes. Drop me the "something.onmicrosoft.com" name of your tenant as a PM. Will work with you to get it sorted. 1
steele_uk Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 I am having the exact same problem. I have signed up for the A3 trial, thinking i would be able to immediately swap over to A2, but i am unable to select it as an option. Were you able to resolve this?

The only time a licence change occurs is if an administrator has actioned it - so if a trial licence expires, it doesn't automatically swap out to another plan. If you don't have an A2 licences available in your portal to assign to users you'll need to go to "purchase services" and "buy" them. The reason they don't automatically swap is primarily to avoid loss of data (i.e. what if you actually wanted to continue with, and pay for, Plan A3?) but also because can you imagine the nightmare managing the service if it just swapped our licences without your approval?
steele_uk Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Thanks for the quick reply, but when i click on purchase services, i get the following message; There are no trial or paid subscriptions available to you at this time. jamesbmarshall Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Have you added, and verified, your own domain to the tenant?
T_Lister Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 I'm afraid I must bring all of this up again, although it is now E3/E1. I want to subscribe to the E1 package and I am faced with the below: There are no trial or paid subscriptions available to you at this time. This could be caused by one of the following: There are no subscriptions available in your country or region. You have already subscribed to all available subscriptions. I have the TXT record sorted and the domain verified. However I cannot complete the verification process as I do not want the MX record made live as I still want my e-mails to come to my existing mail server. Could this be part of the problem, if not, why am I having this issue? Any thoughts would be most welcome please!
