Hi All,

I have recently noticed that when I go on Disconnected Mailbox on our EMC it says "There are no items to show in this view". I have tried

  • Connecting to Server
  • Un-mounting then mounting the Disconnected Mailbox database in the Database Recovery Management tool
  • Running the clean-mailbox database "Database". this comes up with the message "The mailbox database you specified is a recovery mailbox database, you cannot apply this task to it."

I've been googling this for a day and have got no where. Has anyone ran into this problem before and if so please tell me you found a way to resolve it.

Cheers

Dan

Ok - how were they disconnected originally? Accounts removed from AD? There is a time limit, after which a disconnected mailbox will be removed - have you perhaps gone past this?

We disable the email account then delete the AD account. We do on occasions have to disable student email accounts due to mis-use and I know the last one wasn't more than 30days ago.

You probably have a valid reason but why not just remove the E-mail account which in turn will remove the AD object......
