Hi All, Has anyone else came across the issue of students being able to access other students Home Areas via Word 10 & 13 (Haven't tested it on 07). this is done by navigating to: (Have any saved document open) File > Info > (Related Documents) Open File Location. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any Group Policies I could use to restrict users from seeing this? I'm hoping someone does know of a GPO as I don't really want to be altering student profile permissions during term time. I look forward to hearing from you all Regards Dan

We most the time don't want to remove the AD object we just want to disconnect the email account for a short period.
-
We disable the email account then delete the AD account. We do on occasions have to disable student email accounts due to mis-use and I know the last one wasn't more than 30days ago.

Thanks for your response. Yes we definitely have some disconnected mailboxes

Hi All, I have recently noticed that when I go on Disconnected Mailbox on our EMC it says "There are no items to show in this view". I have tried Connecting to Server Un-mounting then mounting the Disconnected Mailbox database in the Database Recovery Management tool Running the clean-mailbox database "Database". this comes up with the message "The mailbox database you specified is a recovery mailbox database, you cannot apply this task to it." I've been googling this for a day and have got no where. Has anyone ran into this problem before and if so please tell me you found a way to resolve it. Cheers Dan

Could this not be the cause of the problem though? After reading on the Akeeba website that php 5.1 is not supported on joomla 2.5, but this could fix one problem and cause even more

Would you recommend that we upgrade from php5.1 to 5.3? Sorry for being a noob

Hi All, I have been asked to resolve an issue and I dont really know where to start. I have googled as much as I can but havent really got any answers. Basically our webmaster has been taking backups of our website for months now with no problem but he now needs to restore one, however when restoring it comes up with an error reporting that it doesnt have permission to wincache_ucache_get on line 48 and we are unable to restore a back up. We are using Akeeba. We are currently usin php 5.1 which we believe could be the problem however i'd rather get a second opion and ensure if we do upgrade it doesnt cause any major issues I have 0 knowledge about this so any help will be very usefull Thankyou in advance Dan

Hi All, Our Exchange server is now 5+ years old so we are looking at replacing it (with the encouragment of a HDD failure). Our current OS is Server 03 and using Exchange Management Console 07. I am aware the EMC 13 is now availible. Was wondering if anyone has upgraded from EMC07 to 13 and how they find it. Any information back about this would be a great help as everyone knows a 5+ year old server with one of its HDD failed can only be bad news Regards Dan

My first thought was to upgrade the HDD's. I was just thinking if anyone is using another method of backing up thier data which I have over looked. Thankyou for your quick response

Hi All, Quick bit of background:I am currently using a QNAP TS-459U which has 4x1TB HDD that are configured as Raid 5, this stores the whole schools backup. As everyone who works in a secondary school/medium sized buisness knows this isnt alot to backup everyones personal areas and shared areas even if you have scheduled incremental backups. I am looking at either using another NAS unit with larger disk space or even open to another solution as long as its cost effective. Whats everyones thoughts? Thanks Dan
