775 motherboard ddr2

Hi All,

 

A lot of our machines use motherboards with the 775 cpu socket, and ddr2 ram.

 

It seems it almost impossible to get hold of these now, are there any suppliers on here who think they could help, I know there are combo boards which allow ddr 2 and dd3 ram and these would be suitable for us.

A large range of our machines use this socket and DDR2. If it's motherboards you're after we wont be able to help so much, but for RAM and Processor upgrades or replacement machines of a similar spec we're your people!

Thanks for replies, think we are going to have to replace the cpu as well as the main board and ram, but its still cheaper than a new machine.

If you're replaceing the RAM, Mainboard & CPU, it's probably worth considering a replacement machine as a whole. I've for Socket 775 DDR3 Machines with two year warranties from £150 and Similar spec DDR2 Machines from £120.

My friend discovered that it was cost neutral to buy a ddr3 mobo and 4GB of DDR3 RAM as it was to buy 4GB of DDR2.

 

I'd point out that changing a PCs Mobo will invalidate the COA licence on the PC...
