Hi All,

 

A few teachers have asked me why they cannot access this site. I've told them it doesn't appear to be blocked as such, more that the website is down (like the internet is my problem or something), but I said I would ask around...

 

Anybody know if this is the case? Or are they going to have to use their brain and create resources themselves

I can't ping it either, DNS problem maybe?

It's not pingable, but your IP is same mine tries to ping.

Means ICMP is turned off/blocked on their servers, but it loads here fine.

The plot thickens...

 

Here is the reply from E2BN, our filtering/proxy guys:

 

"It appears to be a blocking or routing issue associated with the remote hosting site. They seem to be blocking access from the public IP address of the Luton Schools Proxies. The Luton BC Comms team has been investigating but I think with little luck so far."

 

Anyone in the Luton area having this issue?
