Nw0106 Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Has anyone managed to use itunes vouchers to do VPP in educational setting? School won't get credit/ debit card so only alternative is vouchers but then won't get discount. We have 28 iPads that need setting up ASAP with lots of apps so discount would be quite substantial saving.
SovietRussia Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 VPP only at this time supports credit/debit cards 1
Edu-IT Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Could the school not get one of those 'top up cards' and just load some cash on it from petty cash? 1
Nw0106 Posted October 25, 2013 Author Posted October 25, 2013 Thanks for replies. School will have to get a top up card but we won't then get discount for bulk purchase. It makes me want to do what I know many schools are doing and buying app once and synching to the other iPads.
CamelMan Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 We signed up with a company called AT Computers to buy the iPads from, setup and configure. They have offered to use their company credit card to purchase the Apps (+10% charge) directly into our VPP and we pay them via purchase order numbers. Could be an option. 1
