Looking at the support documents, 8.1 isn't mentioned. How long do you think it will be until it is supported?

Difficult to say, probably Summer 2014 at the earliest. It probably will work just fine, but I would stick to Capita recommendations.

I read on the SupportNet forum that Jon Wood is in the process of updating the Technical Roadmap. I'd assume all the above will be included on it. However when it will be published is another question.

We haven't tested on W8.1 as yet but would not expect this to cause issues. I'm not sure when it will be a part of our test cycle.

We would not decline to assist a school that was using W8.1. Unsupported servers are a different matter!!
