jcs808 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Hello Can anyone recommend a low profile internal wireless n card please. I've checked a few specs but none say they come with a low profile plate. Thanks
mac_shinobi Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Desktop / Laptop ( If desktop , what form factor is the case ). Also what make and model of desktop / laptop are we talking here, how much are you willing to spend , how many etc ?
Techykev Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 If its for a low profile desktop PC we have been using these: TP-LINK 150Mbps Wireless PCI Epress Adapter Had 4 of them working since beginning of September, no issues at all so far. They come with a low profile plate and a full sized one, also drivers for win Vista, 7 & 8 in both 32 & 64 bit. Does your PC support the PCI Express?
jcs808 Posted October 22, 2013 Author Posted October 22, 2013 Looking for about 4 of these to go into some HP 8000 desktops. PCI Express is fine and I've been looking at the TP-Link range. BT Business Direct do the TL-WDN3800 for £17.68 + p&p but none of the specs (BT and TP-Link websites) mention a low profile plate. I might give the TL-WDN3800 a go, unless anyone can recommend something different for about £20 each. Thanks.
