Okay folks I'm looking for suggestions for some games to play on my Nexus 7 while I'm travelling. They must work without internet access and I don't mind paying for good ones.

Cheers

Terraria! You'll loose HOURS to this!!! :D

Broken Sword is normally a good one for this, attracts those who need something more entertaining than a couple of minutes.

+1 for the Broken Sword series. Easily a few hours gameplay in each, and it really holds your attention! :)

I hated the interface that Terraria had on mobile.. It was just so clunky and difficult to use, which is a shame, 'cause I really like Terraria on PC and could imagine myself losing many an hour to it on mobile.

There's a Professor Layton game about crime-solved that is free to test, but then the next sets of 'cases' cost money. Overall it cost no more than £4 (both packs combined, in fact I think it's even less) which I was perfectly happy to pay, and would say it's worth it. Kept me entertained for some considerable time.

Plague Inc's a good one, too

Hey now. Just because you can't solve the puzzles, that doesn't make it a bad game. :p

ITS STUPED. Makes no sense. Developers are bad :(

There were, admittedly, a few moments where I sat there and went "But, that makes sense.. You just only coded for one response and not two" but overall I can't say I found it 'bad'.

.. though I was unsure about its legitimacy until I realised she was a Brummy and not just a victim of poor translation.

Sounds like Phoenix Wright.

I figure it out pretty quick, but you can't just say "He's guilty because XYZ and here's the evidence that proves it." You have to jump through the specific hoops to get to that point [though, that make a new game REALLY hard. You know how it ends, but you can't remember the steps.]
