gmj Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Was just wondering if anyone else here is into Breaking Bad? I'm a complete addict! Only started watch it just over a month ago...friends were raving about it, I watched the first episode and *boom*. My weekends were took over by it. Can't believe there's only 1 episode to go.
JJonas Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Same here been playing catch up, cant wait for next ep. M62 is obvious but what do you recon he is going to do with the ricin?
bladedanny Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 (edited) -- Possible Spoiler -- I reckon the ricin is going to be for Elliot and Gretchen they really peed him off last episode. Edited September 24, 2013 by bladedanny
d0pefish Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 *SPOILER ALERT* Walter White gets arrested, makes a deal and goes in to witness protection. The next season starts with him in a home with a new wife and three kids living at home, under his new identity Hal
pcstru Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Yes, it's excellent. Caught onto it around the end of Season 3. I'm waiting for all the episodes to be available before I shut the door of the man cave and binge out on Season 5. Radio's 4 PM ran a spoiler yesterday, revealing the sad, sad ending ...
bladedanny Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 There's so much to tie up in one episode. I don't know who but there has to be so many deaths next week.
jinnantonnixx Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 (edited) Absolutely love it. I bought a WD TV Live gizmo just to save the hassle of connecting the laptop to the telly. Hello... what's this? Netflix? Free trial? Why not. Well, that was the end of that weekend. (Going to unsubscribe this thread as I don't want to see any spoilers) Edited September 24, 2013 by jinnantonnixx
gmj Posted September 24, 2013 Author Posted September 24, 2013 -- Possible Spoilers -- I think the ricin could be for Elliot and Gretchen....but thinking more maybe Lydia? Slip it into that tea she is always drinking. There is LOADS to tie up in one episode...hoping its not just Walt (well...he is pretty much 100% Heisenberg now) going postal on everyone with that M60 though.
sparkeh Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 *quickly scrolls past spoliers* Just started and only watched first two episodes, the wife and I are *hooked*! Love it already
gmj Posted September 24, 2013 Author Posted September 24, 2013 I’m not really much of a TV watcher (although like my films), but its definitely one of the best shows I have watched! Next Monday is going to be a long day…
JJonas Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Breaking Bad: our finale predictions | Den of Geek ^ Spoilers? some good reasoning here I think, but difficult to see how they are going to fit all of this into one episode without it feeling rushed.
jinnantonnixx Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 (edited) Well, I finished it. I enjoyed it so much I wish I could forget it and start all over again. What a web of a plot. And the characters were absolutely perfect; it was pure alchemy (Saul and Gus were tremendous). However, I found Skyler to be quite an unlikeable and irritating character. Extraordinary television, this is set to be a classic. Someone said it was like a 64 hour movie that gripped you with every scene. The cinematography was spectacular, I think it was shot on 35mm film instead of video. Apparently, tourism in Albuquerque has gone bananas. Edited November 4, 2013 by jinnantonnixx

Little-Miss Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 (edited) I am still concerned about Jessie... He's gone on to become a carpenter, right? Edited November 4, 2013 by Little-Miss
fiza Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Just finished it. What do i do now? Im having BB withdrawal symptoms. I miss it.
fiza Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Breaking Bad: 5 alternate endings Vince Gilligan was kicking around | Metro News Still prefer the ending they went with.
fiza Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 The only thing I did wonder was did Jesse get away with any money (the millions Todd and Uncle Jack nicked off Walt) or just his life?
d0pefish Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 I think in the end the money didn't matter to him as evidenced by him throwing millions out the car window previously. I think he lost too much for money to be a factor anymore
plexer Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 All those alternate endings are just meh. Ben
fiza Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 I think in the end the money didn't matter to him as evidenced by him throwing millions out the car window previously. I think he lost too much for money to be a factor anymore I guess you are right. I did enjoy the "revenge on Todd" moment.
