Because nick names of nick names are the best and I like big macs.

 

I prefer a double or tripple whopper from burger king !! That's another story though and personal preference !!

I also wear a monocle and top hat! Then once the tagz are in my hands, I say "Chin chin old bean", take a sip of brandy, puff on a cigar and rub my hands together in glee. :)

 

If the cat is on me, it's "WE MEET AGAIN MR @Sunnyknight!" //mad cackle

Now that the prizes have all been dealt with, the "everyone gets sweeties" thank you packs will be sorted and sent next. You'll definitely get them before Madvent begins.

That sounds like some kind of dodgy euphemism!

 

By the way, big thanks to everyone who advised me to contact VeryPC about new computers. We now have two Broadleaf Ones taking pride of place in the staff room.:D

 

Positive comments so far include:

Deputy head - "Oooh. They're a bit snazzy!"

ICT
Co-ordinator - "Beeeeaauuuuuuutiful. And green too. That's important."

Admin assistant (owing to the compact nature of the Broadleaf One) - "So what part of the computer is that, then?"

And another comment I received just yesterday that I haven't even told VeryPC about yet:

Head - "They're
really
smart with the logo on the front. We could get some more of those when we come to do one of the suites again."

Mission accomplished. :D

Never got round to popping here and saying this (paternity leave, therefore my brain has shut down for the last fortnight) but got my parcel last week, thanking you kindly :) I must admit to a moment of excitement when I saw the Intel box, but the gobstopper that was in it has found a happy home with my 12 year old daughter. Cheers! :drunken_smilie:

I already did, apart from the last one from the headteacher. He's coming in on Monday to show off some kit. Not that we're ready to upgrade the suite just yet, but I'll be sure to introduce him to the powers that be. :)

Thank you very much :D and all is fine (as is the heretofore unmentioned middle brother of 15 months). Wish I could say the same for my network while I've been off!

No not yet, been tied up with the finishing touches to our webshop, which is all but done now so the sweeties will be going out VERY soon.

 

I'll make an announcement when we send them so you can keep your eyes peeled.
