Nope. That was an upside down 9 and as everybody knows the 2 in 29 is silent.

Al

Number 2s are silent?

I dunno about that... :getmecoat:

Good save - couldn't take that meme any further than it was heading in the other direction on a family friendly forum.

Bring back the days when fruit was just fruit and didn't imply / infer / mean a tech product of any description

Don't go too far back - anyone remember Apricot?

Love it, especially the *ahem* cosmic energy surrounding the sword. :)

Indeed.

That was entirely intentional and nothing to do with .jpg files blurring colours and me being to lazy to fix it.

*waits with feeling of dread of what is to emerge*

Surely that just leads straight back to ninja poos!!

& how come nothing got posted in a hour and ten!!! Are people actually working?

I suspect they may be.

Either that or we're all just sitting here waiting with bated breath for @pete01 to choose his number (I have PMed him, don't worry).

Sorry, bit quiet this half term. I'd nodded off. Are we still doing crap jokes? Yeah? Ok: horse walks into a bar. Barman says: why the long face?

Horse says "Cancer."

Oh and as for the posting/work thing, its half term which means I am off looking for ghosts while the school is empty.

It's not half-term until next week for us...

Oh man! All my hard work and support on edugeek has paid off. Nice.

I'm going... 4

Well if you put in the hours you get what's coming to you.

[DISCLAIMER] ^^^I promise that's not a threat despite how dodgy it could sound[/DISCLAIMER]

Plus, the only time anyone actually needs to put in to be in with a chance of winning round here is the minute it takes to PM me you professional contact details if you're a UK based IT tech or manager type, but we sure do appreciate all the extra contributions we get from the thread regulars.

Congratulations! Prize reveal coming up...

Just time to film today's prize reveal for @pete01, and here it is!

I'll be in touch about the T-shirt swapsie option via PM soon.

Remember entries are still open, so if you get in now you'll be in the draw from tomorrow onwards until your name is drawn (but will be put back before the star prize PS4 draw). To enter just PM me your professional contact details if you are a UK based IT manager/tech type, OR if you've entered a VeryPC competition on EduGeek before, you can just speak up in the thread that you want back in and we'll add you.

Good luck for tomorrow everyone!

Looking for ghosts or doing some work?

No joy here, just the usual banging whispering etc. Oh and pretty sure I heard crying from the toilets, nothing there though when checked.

Hey, nice! That would come in handy for the PC we have in the assembly hall. It's a touch screen with no peripherals which drives a lot of people mad.

Would it be cheeky to ask for that beautiful signed piece of art, too? Our network manager is a dedicated VeryPC and Al fan, and I'm sure it would be well-loved framed in his office.
