Listen - doing STOCKTOBER2! is very stressful alright? A guy just needs to take the edge off okay? Leave me alone! (where'd I put the gin?)

Well... doing 'Stock2ber' would be much less stressful...

Try working in a school and getting no respect because A: you're a tech and B: you're male.

Sound like you should be making your coffee Irish. ;)

Add Po-Tay-Toes?

Yeah Stock2ber is the chilled out version where I don't do any shouting, everyone wins exactly 1/entrants portion of the prize set and the strongest drink required is camomile tea.

Right - time to print the latest entry tickets and add them to the chassis for today's draw. All the latest bonus entries will be added too.

Remember entries are still open, so anyone who enters now will be in the draw from tomorrow onwards until your name is drawn (but will be put back before the star prize PS4 draw). To enter just PM me your professional contact details if you are a UK based IT manager/tech type, OR if you've entered a VeryPC competition on EduGeek before, you can just speak up in the thread that you want back in and we'll add you.

Good luck everyone!

Quick question. Will all three entries be put back in for the PS4 draw or will it be one per user?

Hopefully the latter.

There will be all out war if someone wins it and they have multiple entries in. [At least, there will be if I have anything to say about it.]

So, I had a quick look at the old thread from last year.

1088 replies, 45, 468 views and 73 pages of shenanigans. Between 28th September and 7th December.

That's the target. We had 40 days and we're currently at 26. Let's do this. [/LeeroyJenkins]

This I feel is an appropriate response to your post:

All tickets will be put back in the chassis, including bonuses. As you know max entries total per user is capped at 3 and anyone following the thread will get the chance to max these out before the end of the competition if you pay attention and take your opportunities to contribute where offered.

At last it's finished processing:

Here's your daily winner draw as well as @CESIL's prize reveal:

Congratulations daily winner! Please choose you number from the remaining boxes shown in the video and we'll reveal your prize later.

'Til later,

So, it's your own fault if you don't have max entries and someone that does wins?

This is £500 of console-y goodness. It should be fair for everyone.

[As you can possibly tell... I'm still annoyed. Stupid teachers.]

Thanks @X-13 for the stat-burst.

I'm hoping that we exceed last year's figures. Number of posts looks likely to be achieved easily. We're quite close to having more entries than last year already too. The one I'd love to beat is the number of views; we're currently on 11K an need to make 45.5K - it's a big ask, but I'm hopeful.

The possibility of bonus entries was always part of the bargain. Anyone who follows the thread and gets involved will be able to easily get their 3 entries before the 31st October. I'm certain that you'll have 3 by the end of the month. I want entrants to know that their contributions do not go unrewarded and the improved chance of winning daily prizes and the star prize are that reward.

Actually £350 of console and up to £60 of gamery, but yes, a significantly valuable prize (and awesome thingy).

Just to say a massive thanks to @VeryPC, Al and everyone else involved in doing this prize give away - especially with such a lovely prize ( of the PS 4 + Game ) etc. Oh and also allowing me to enter !!

I'm going to say yes, because I've had quotes for personal stuff.

Cheers @Little-Miss

You can thank @VeryPC_Andy and @VeryPC_Tom_B for the commercial portions of the videos. I try not to ram it down your throats, but they're right to suggest a little bit of advertising as long as we can fit it in without taking over the video I think.

You're not the first that the Glide has caught the eye of actually; we've had several enquiries since the first video to feature it. It is a pretty awesome product to be honest. We're getting it reviewed by one of your friendly neighbourhood publications soon so I'll post a link when that goes live (not sure on the exact time frame for publication yet).

Anyone looking for more info on the Glide can find it on our website here: https://www.very-pc.co.uk/products/all-in-one-pc/glide

That 45k is misleading though.

That's 45k views from the time it was posted to today.

Not 45k for the period it was being posted in.
