Hiya,

 

Any ideas on how you can restore an iCloud Backup on to a brand new iPad when you need to authenticate against a Lightspeed box before you connect to the Internet?

Assuming you put the proxy in the wireless settings. Try going to a site in safari. Authenticate. Then try the restore. Just wondering, can you not get a direct connection to the firewall, as a one off? Or unauthenticated using the proxy?

I'm talking about before you can get to Safari, during the setup wizard when you first get the iPad out the box and turn it on.
